Behind the brand: Lune’s discovery
After years of struggling with stubborn acne and inflammation, our founder, Lune, found that harsh, overly active products only made her skin worse; stripping the barrier and creating a cycle of inflammation and breakouts. She went through years of trial and error, before discovering that combining internal and external care kept her skin clear 95% of the time.
“This is a story that goes way back to suffering from skin conditions including eczema in my early childhood to acne, mild rosacea and perioral dermatitis as a teenager and adult. I know how horrible it feels to have painful cysts and bumpy-textured skin that just can’t be masked by any foundation or concealer. After realizing the direct link between my gut health, hormones and skin flare-ups I targeted my skin from the inside out and finally cleared it long term.” - Lune
Having then earned a diploma in Skincare Formulation, Lune started to create Monday Muse products from scratch along with Cambridge educated chemists, nutritionists and and expand the range into what it is now – pioneering a new generation of skincare that focuses not only on the topical serums, but internal irregularities as well.

The two-pronged approach is simple: Supplements that target gut health & hormonal balance, working with the gut-skin axis connection; and skincare designed to support barrier health, containing gentle actives that even sensitive skin can handle.
